I really like your site design, I saw it on the I Love Typography blog.

As much as I like your site ... I like the Flyers more ... I'm from PA! :)

<b>Alex</b>
Thanks for your comment mate. I don't really mean the W3C check so much (I'll admit, I haven't run it in some time...) -- so perhaps the word is something of a misnomer in this case. For me, web standards essentially means keeping the code clean, semantic, and usable.

I also see what you mean from a client perspective, I could certainly do some explaining there. (Perhaps a link to an explanation of sorts...)

Anyways, thanks for the genuine feedback. I'm glad you like the site. ;)

Hey bro, I honestly like your site (hami.sh) but I have a question. You say you're "passionate" about "web standards". Passionate? You'd give your life for them? Just kidding. But I am really curious what's up with so many designers being hung up on "standards". By standards do you mean passing W3 validation check? Imagine I'm a prospective client and I come to your page and I see "web standards" and I think to myself, "dude, I didn't know about web standards, I must be stupid or this kid is just a geek". That's what I would think anyway.
Well other then that I really like your site.

He’s passionate about typography, web standards, and writing."
