Design Challenge #1 - Scrabble Piece

Welcome to part 1 of a new series here on the hamstu.

The premise is simple — I design something. Anything. Icons, logos, animations, layouts. Whatever comes to mind. And the best part? I release the source for you to play with.

So, first up. A scrabble tile!

Download the PSD!

I’m not really sure why I made one. Just spur-of-the-moment really. I hope you like it — share and enjoy!

Don’t miss out on any new sets, subscribe now, if you haven’t already!

Would it be ok, if I use your scrabble pieces for one of my post images? I’ll definitely credit you for that :-)

I found the site at the perfect time, I was just starting to evolve my style so to speak, and typography was something that I really wanted to learn more about. John filled a need, and if you have any interest in the subject of typography and design, then I highly recommend it. Over time, I’ve made some small contributions to the site; aside from commenting, I’ve also posted a few wallpapers that you might like (or perhaps even love). You might recognize the one above, I used the same scrabble tiles from my post a few months back. […]
